The Gospel message. God wants to save everyone. We choose. End times are here
This life is not the end. An eternity of bliss, joy, love and peace is a real option. No sickness, ageing or death

What is the Gospel? Is it a verse or Scripture from the Bible. Do we simply say a prayer and we get to go to Heaven. Why do we need to be rescued, and from what. Why is the Gospel good news and does it apply to everyone?

The Gospel isn't just a Verse or Scripture from the Bible

The Gospel is realistically the whole Bible. The word Gospel means 'good news'. It begins at Genesis, ends with Revelation and encompasses all of the books in-between.

The Gospel is an account of God's unfathomable love for His creation

From the beginning, God wanted a people to call His own. Before the fall of man, The Lord walked with Adam and Eve. There was no sin, ageing or death, they had everything they needed, and more. But they chose to disobey Him. God cursed them, cast them out from the Garden of Eden, separated Himself from man, and hell became our eternal destination.

Even though He was betrayed, God had a plan of redemption from the start. In the end, He will still have His chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession

~ 1 Peter 2:9

Because of our fallen nature, man found it impossible to live up to the standards of the law that God gave to Israel in the Old Testament. Anything short of perfect was called sin and the law established that the only way sin could be cleansed was through a blood sacrifice of an innocent life.

In His great love for us, Jesus offered Himself as that blood sacrifice. God sent Him to live among us here on earth. He died a horrible death on the cross, in place of us. God raised Him from the dead in three days, and has decreed that anyone who repents of their sin, and 'believes' in Jesus, will be saved from hell. They will be gifted with eternal life in Heaven, and given a new sin free, ageless, immortal body.

But believing isn't just a word

Believing isn't a Bible verse or saying a prayer, it's a lifetime of love and commitment. We 'choose' to believe, and we must continue to believe as He reveals more of Himself to us.

What is belief, in brief:

  • Believe whatever God reveals to us at any given time.

  • Love God with everything we are. Believe in His Word and commands. Follow Him in everything we do.

  • Believe He is who He says is. He is sovereign, all powerful, almighty God.

  • If He speaks to us or communicates with us in some way - don't doubt His voice.

  • If we see a miracle, no matter how big or small - believe it is from God, nothing is impossible for Him.

  • If His Spirit guides or convicts us - believe and obey.

What does it really mean to believe?

Why is the Gospel 'good news?'

Truthfully, we cannot possibly comprehend the entirety of the Gospel. The list of good things is the length of eternity. But He promises this; 1 Corinthians 2:9 - That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him.

In this life, If we hear and believe His Gospel message, repent of our sins and ask Him into our lives as Lord and Saviour. If we accept His glorious offer of salvation; He saves us, promises to be with us, to strengthen and uphold us. He will make Himself known to us and gift us with faith enough to carry us through the good times and the bad. He will come to live inside of us. He will guide us, protect us, and fight our battles. He will give us discernment to help us avoid the evil that comes upon us in this life, while He works to transform us into who He created us to be.

In the future, God will once again walk with us. He will be our God and we will be His people. He will gift us with eternal life, a new body that will never age, get sick or die. We will be with our saved loved ones forever in bliss, peace and joy. In the end, everything will be new, including a new Heavens and Earth. There will be no more sin, no anger, jealousy, bitterness, vanity, uncertainty, none of the things in this life that currently crush us and define us as people who we don't want to be. We won't think the same, be the same, we will lose this flesh. We will have an eternity to explore mind blowing beauty and wonders.

The Gospel is free

We are saved by grace through faith; Ephesians 2:8-9 - God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.

But were not entirely let off the hook. God requires we use our free will to love Him with everything we are; Matthew 22:37 - Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ And from that love, we respect and obey Him through His Word, prayer, His Holy Spirit leadings and convictions. He changes and transforms us from within. He purges, sanctifies and purifies via many tests and trials. He prepares us for Heaven, where earthly evils will no longer be a part of who we are. God wants all to be saved, none to perish, but in the end, its our choice, we have free will.

@4GodLoves This teaching is from 10 years ago but it is as new as an hour ago. God does not change. He Is the same as yesterday, today and forever. ️

@lanamoknii6059 I love Paul Washer's sermons. I claimed being a Christian for more than 40 years while living an evil life. But God started converting me causing me to repent and turn away from my sin and turn toward Him. He showed me my sin and rebellion and helped me start to change from the inside out. And it never ends. Everyday He shows me new things I need to repent....

@notafeminist7642 Paul Washer exposed me as the false Christian I was. God bless this man!

Say yes to the Gospel message
