Who will be left behind at the Rapture

At the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound,

1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 - In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye... for the trumpet shall sound...We're almost there! Jesus is coming so very soon. The question on every Christian's lips should most definitely be, "Will I be found worthy, will I make the Rapture."

Will all Christians be taken in the Rapture?

Dangerous and irresponsible preaching...No one, absolutely no one but God knows who will be taken in the Rapture. What is disturbing is the number of Christian Pastors, some well known, along with various social media channels, 'guaranteeing' that all Christians will be taken home when our Lord and Saviour returns. No questions asked, no warnings or 'if' clauses. They are broadcasting to the world that any one who is Christian in name, 'who may not even be truly saved,' no matter how they are living, whether lukewarm or worldly... will be given a free ticket home.

Does the Bible tell us who will be taken in the Rapture and who will be left behind?

"There are NO SPECIFIC SCRIPTURES that tells us for sure who will be taken and who will be left behind. What the Bible categorically confirms however, is that we must be living for God, we must want Him to come, we must be watching, living right, we must be ready!"

We must be ready for the Rapture!

2 Timothy 4:8 - And now the prize awaits me—the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing.

Matthew 24:42 - Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.

Matthew 25:10 - But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.

Revelation 3:10 - Because you have obeyed my command to persevere, I will protect you from the great time of testing that will come upon the whole world to test those who belong to this world

1 Thessalonians 5:2 - For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.

Philippians 3:20-21 - But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.

Matthew 17:34 - I tell you, in that night there will be two in one bed. One will be taken and the other left. There will be two women grinding together. One will be taken and the other left.

Luke 12:40 - You also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect

Luke 21:36 - Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man.

Revelation 22:12 - Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done.

Matthew 25:13 - So you, too, must keep watch! For you do not know the day or hour of my return

Luke 18: 6-8 Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

The number of Christians who believe in the Rapture is reducing daily, and many who say they do, want Jesus to come back in 'their' timing...

Jesus is returning soon to take His faithful Church home, to be where He is
Jesus is returning soon to take His faithful Church home, to be where He is

In conclusion...No one knows the day or the hour. No one knows for sure who will be taken. But we definitely know that we do not want to be left behind.
