Psalm 42:1 - As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God.

To God be the glory

When God sets His heart on you, when He wrote about you in His Book Of Life... when in His great mercy He chose you from the foundation of the world, then you are His and He will move Heaven and Earth to keep you. His love is overpowering, all encompassing, inescapable.

1 Corinthians 10:31 - So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God...

When God calls you His own

God works our free will in unison with His divine purpose, always for His glory and our good. Not because of anything that we have done but because of who He is. Even if we are hurting and outwardly our emotions say "no," He knows the desires of our hearts. In His perfect timing, He pours out His love so strong, so powerful, so overwhelming that any stubborn pride is washed away, another layer is unravelled beneath the deluge of warm tears. There is nothing more joyful, no moment more beautiful than to be overcome by God's Holy Spirit.

"Is With You"

LORD I pray please lift me to the mountain top,

please lift me to where you are.

I ask to be in Your presence all of my life,

in Your light, shining brighter than any star.

I gladly hide beneath Your wings,

Your promises, illuminate the night sky.

In the darkness, in the pitch against the enemy,

I take seat on the wings of an eagle and fly.

I praise you Lord that I cannot escape Your Spirit,

for I am enraptured by Your beauty, for who You are.

You appear from the midst of nowhere God,

from the middle of near and far.

Your love is a fierce and twisting whirlwind,

captivating... it has my heart pound.

Yet, it is as gentle as dew in light of morning sunrise,

it glitters like Gold on the ground.

You speak to us through the wind God,

through the calming rustle of a Leaf.

Your Word ripples through the waters,

Your reflection in oceans running deep.

I see Your majesty in feathers of a bird soaring high,

Your humble nature in a plant that looks towards the sun.

Because of You my God, I am no longer a clanging cymbal,

forever I am Yours, Your Will Lord be done.

New name on a White Stone

Revelation 2:17 - Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it.
